In January-July 2023, TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) attracted UAH 1839.71 million in insurance payments, which is 44.8% higher than the insurer’s revenues for the corresponding period last year, according to its website.
In particular, the company collected UAH 379.02 million of payments under hull insurance contracts, which is 20.6% of the total amount of premiums raised and 62.2% more than this figure for the first seven months of 2022, MOTPL – UAH 608.08 million (33.05%), an increase of 38.7%, Green Card – UAH 422.01 million (22.9%), an increase of 68.6%, and voluntary health insurance – UAH 79.4 million (9.75%), an increase of 14.7%.
During the reporting period, the company collected UAH 40.84 million in premiums under property insurance contracts, which is 38.1% more than in the previous year. Other contracts amounted to UAH 210.36 million of payments (+29.8%).
As reported, during the reporting period, the company paid UAH 700.16 million in insurance indemnities, or 38.9% more than in the corresponding period last year, according to the insurer’s website.
Payments under hull insurance contracts increased by 55.7% (compared to January-July 2022), to UAH 215.37 million, which is 30.76% of the total amount of payments of the insurer. Motor third party liability insurance increased by 28.5% to UAH 270.12 million (38.58%), Green Card – by 82.6% to UAH 117.73 million (16.81%), voluntary health insurance – by 10.3% to UAH 74.98 million (10.7%).
TAS Insurance Group paid out UAH 4.68 million in indemnities under property insurance contracts for the period under review. The company’s claims paid under other insurance contracts amounted to UAH 17.28 million over the seven months.

TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) has paid UAH 1.567 million for a Hidromek HMK 370LC HD excavator drowned in a swampy area, having settled the incident in full, according to the insurer’s website.
It is specified that the incident occurred at one of the border areas in the Rivne region, where large construction equipment, including the excavator insured by TAS, was involved in the construction of additional protective structures. At some point, the excavator suddenly began to “sink”. To rescue the machine, the State Emergency Service was called, which used another excavator to try to make a flooring and at the same time launched drainage pumps.
After examining the circumstances of the incident, TAS Insurance Group, where the excavator was insured under the Pravoe KASKO contract, recognized the incident as insured and settled it in full.
In June 2023, TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) collected UAH 309.18 million in payments, which is 46.9% more than the amount of premiums raised in June 2022, according to its website.
It is noted that almost a quarter of the insurer’s revenues for the reporting period – 23.37% – came from hull insurance, which collected UAH 72.25 million in payments (+17.3%).
The company’s revenues from MOTPL policies increased by 33.1% to UAH 107.91 million in payments and accounted for 34.9% of the total premiums collected in the month. Under the Green Card, the company attracted UAH 82.35 million in payments, which is 26.63% of the total proceeds of the insurer for the reporting period and 74.8% higher than in June last year.
In turn, the share of VHI in the company’s revenue portfolio amounted to 5.29%, or UAH 16.36 million of insurance premiums in June 2023. Property insurance contracts amounted to UAH 4.13 million (+22.2%).
The company’s revenues from other insurance contracts amounted to UAH 26.18 million in June.
Insurance group “TAS” (Kiev) for the first six months of 2023 paid insurance indemnities in the amount of UAH 611.19 million – by 35.6% more than in the first six months of last year, according to the insurer’s website.
According to its data, payments under hull insurance contracts for the specified period increased by 52.2% – up to UAH 188.16 million, which is 30.79% of the total amount of payments for this period.
At the same time, the share of CMTPL insurance in the portfolio of payments amounted to 38.24% (UAH 233.69 million) – by 25.5% more than in the corresponding period last year. Even more – by 78,6% – payments under “Green Card” have grown – up to UAH 106,38 mln, which is 17,41% of the total volume of payments of the group.
In turn, under contracts of voluntary medical insurance SG “TAS” in January – June paid UAH 63,58 mln, which is 10,4% of the total amount of indemnities paid during the reporting period and by 5,3% exceeds the corresponding indicator for six months last year.
In the first half of the year TAS IG paid UAH 4.38 mln under property insurance contracts, and UAH 15 mln under other insurance contracts.
PJSC “National Energy Company (NEC) “Ukrenergo” on July 6 announced the intention to conclude with the insurance group “TAS” for voluntary health insurance services for 8.522 thousand people.
As reported in the system of electronic public procurement Prozorro, the expected cost of the purchase of services is 46.678 million UAH, the price offer of the company – 38.941 million UAH.
The tender was also attended by IC ROM Ukraine with a price offer of UAH 38.626m, VUSO – UAH 44.989mn, Unica – UAH 45.553mn.

TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) has paid UAH 508.88 mln under insurance contracts within the first five months of 2023, which is 32.3% more than during the same period last year, according to the insurer’s website.
Thus, UAH 158,5 mln was paid out on CASCO contracts, which makes 31,15% of the total reimbursements of the insurer and exceeds the mentioned index for the five months of 2022 by 50,9%.
More than a third or 38,09% corresponded to CMTPL – UAH 193,82 mln (+19%), 17,34% to payments on “Green Card” (UAH 88,25 mln, +94,8%), 10,08% to the contracts of voluntary medical insurance (UAH 51,3 mln).
TAS IG has paid UAH 4,11 mln. according to the property insurance contracts for five months. The Company’s payments under other insurance contracts in January-May amounted to 12.9 mln.
