Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Research and Production Enterprise ENERGO-PLUS has been involved in humanitarian initiatives and has been helping the Ukrainian military. The Kremenchuk energy company provides military units with vehicles, necessary equipment and machinery. The total amount of assistance since the beginning of the full-scale invasion is more than UAH 8 million.
The funds were used to purchase VOLKSWAGEN TRANSPORTER T5 and Mercedes-Benz VITO vans, as well as Renault Duster, NISSAN NAVARA, MITSUBISHI L200 cars and SUVs and three FORD RANGER vehicles. We also spend money on fuel and lubricants, as well as maintenance and repair of vehicles.
Another area of the company’s charitable activities is providing the military with equipment, tools, office equipment, etc. A separate part of the initiative is the purchase and delivery of 5 generators, which are an important element for power supply at the front line.
– Today, each of us must bring our country closer to victory. Ukrainian soldiers risk their lives every day for the sake of Ukraine’s independence, and we, joining our efforts, are obliged to help them,” emphasizes Yevgeniy Korf, Director of RPE ENERGO-PLUS LLC.
“The humanitarian direction is no less important, because at the beginning of the invasion, thousands of people needed shelter. Therefore, the company also joined the initiative of the Trust and Assistance Charitable Foundation to build a shelter for temporarily displaced persons.
The company’s core business is the design, development, and implementation of industrial automation, power supply, and various electrical systems for Ukrainian enterprises and private companies.

As reported, according to the information and analytical group AUTO-Consulting, in the segment of heavy trucks (GVW over 3.5 tons), sales in 2023 increased by 56.5% compared to 2022 – up to 4,853 thousand units, and Scania became the leader with sales of 710 vehicles – twice as many as in 2022.
In 2022, according to Ukravtoprom, the market for new commercial vehicles decreased by 2.3 times compared to 2021, to 6.9 thousand units, and the top five leaders of the year were Renault, Mercedes-Benz, Citroen, Fiat, and MAN.
In November, registrations of new commercial vehicles (trucks and special vehicles) in Ukraine amounted to 1,031 units, which is twice as many as in the same month last year, Ukravtoprom reported on its Telegram channel.
At the same time, registrations increased by 6% (or 54 units) compared to October this year.
Renault remains the market leader by a significant margin with 241 units. Peugeot took second place (compared to third in October) with 74 units. Ford is in third place (72 units), and Mercedes-Benz is fourth with 71 cars registered. MAN (67 units) rounds out the top five, having risen to second place in October this year.
In general, according to Ukravtoprom, in January-November 2023, more than 10.1 thousand new vehicles were added to the Ukrainian fleet of trucks and special vehicles, which is 71% more than in the same period in 2022.

Metinvest Mining and Metallurgical Group has handed over another batch of vehicles and UAVs worth about UAH 12 million to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine as part of Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front military initiative.
According to a press release on Friday, Metinvest handed over another batch of aid to support Ukraine’s border guards in their fight against the enemy.
It is specified that the next batch of aid to the military included ten Volkswagen vans and UAVs – five Valkyrie systems, each consisting of two aircraft, and five Mavic 3T quadcopters with a thermal imager.
“The Valkyrie is a complex that is now being heavily used by the State Border Guard Service units both during the day and at night to conduct reconnaissance and adjustments of units. Due to their technical characteristics, UAVs make it possible to operate in areas protected by enemy electronic means and to guide our artillery and assault units,” explained Dmitry Petrenko, a representative of the State Border Guard Service administration, as quoted by the press service.
As for the vehicles, Metinvest managed to find them in Germany. After the purchase, they underwent additional maintenance, all fluids and necessary spare parts were replaced.
“To date, we have handed over more than 50 four-wheel drive beads to the border guards, which are used to patrol large sections of the border. “This is also the fourth batch of Valkyries: in total, we have already handed over about 60 units. Each of these UAVs can cover 100 km, so we can say that border guards are using these “birds” to cover almost all of our borders. Metinvest’s Valkyries are also used in hot areas, such as Bakhmut,” said Oleksandr Vodovviz, Head of the Project Office of Metinvest CEO,
“In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Metinvest has allocated UAH 4.2 billion to support Ukraine and Ukrainians. Of this amount, over UAH 2 billion has been spent to help soldiers as part of Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front military initiative. The company has donated 150,000 bulletproof vests, 25,000 helmets and helmets, 80,000 anti-tank hedgehogs, 31,500 turnstiles, 1,500 drones, 2,000 thermal imagers, 500 vehicles and 300 special mobile phones.

On August 12, the Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced its intention to conclude a contract with IC “VUSO” (Kiev) for compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles.
According to the data of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro, the company’s price offer amounted to UAH 508,238 thousand against the expected cost of purchasing services of UAH 1.369 million.
The tender was also attended by insurance companies “Salamandra”-522,5 thousand UAH, “Oranta”-690,2 thousand UAH, “Inter-Policy”-1,159 million UAH, “Arsenal Insurance”-1,226 million UAH.
