On January 25, the Ukrainian State Postal Communications Enterprise (USPCE) Ukrposhta (Kiev) announced its intention to conclude a contract with IC Guardian for the services of compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of motor vehicles (OSAGO).
As reported in the system of electronic public procurement “Prozorro”, with the expected cost of the purchase of services of UAH 1.399 million price offer of IC “Guardian” was UAH 557.611 thousand,
IC “Krajina” – UAH 620 th, IC “Arsenal Insurance” – UAH 628,2 th, “Inter-Policy” – UAH 690 th, “European Insurance Alliance” – UAH 697,9 th, “Euroins-Ukraine” – UAH 706,4 th participated in the tender.
IC “Guardian” has been working in the insurance market since 2007. It is a member of the presidium of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine. Since January 2020 it has received the status of a full member of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTSBU), has the right to sell “Green Card” policies.
Insurance group “TAS” (Kiev) in 2023 paid out under the concluded insurance contracts totaling UAH 1.341 billion, which is 48.3% higher than the amount of reimbursements of the company for 2022.
According to the company’s website, payments under CASCO contracts have increased by 60.2% – up to UAH 402.78 mln, which is 30.03% of the total volume of payments of the insurer for 2023, MTPL – by 39%, up to UAH 491.21 mln (36.62%), “Green Card” – by 64%, up to UAH 35.5 mln (25.3%).
Payments on “Green Card” have increased in 2,9 times – up to UAH 238,05 mln that makes 17,75% of the total amount of payments of the insurer for the reporting period. Payouts under VHI have increased by 44,2% – up to UAH 168,28 mln (12,55%).
Under property insurance contracts the company paid out UAH 10,72 mln last year – by 19,6% more than in 2022.
Under other insurance contracts SG “TAS” has paid UAH 30,2 mln in 2023.
SG “TAS” was registered in 1998. It is a universal company, offers more than 80 types of insurance products on various types of voluntary and compulsory insurance. It has an extensive regional network of 28 regional directorates and branches.

PJSC Cherkasyoblenergo has allocated UAH 142 million to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
“UAH 120 million is direct assistance to military units, another UAH 22 million are payments to employees defending Ukraine as part of the AFU,” the company said in a press release on Thursday.
It is specified that the total amount of assistance for 700 days of the big war is more than 20 cars, 3 pickup trucks, more than 20 quadrocycles, almost 50 quadrocopters, more than 70 thermal imagers, 18 thermal sights, 20 optical devices, more than 60 gasoline and diesel generators, chainsaws, intercom radios, solar panels, kamikaze drones, equipment, medical drugs and devices and other necessary things.
In addition, the company also makes monthly payments of 10 thousand UAH of material aid to 156 employees of the company who defend Ukraine as part of the AFU. In 2023, the company paid a total of about 22m hryvnias of such assistance.
