Centravis launches second pipe production line

PrJSC Centravis Production Ukraine, which is part of the holding Centravis Ltd., continues the production process and launched the second pipe production line. “Centravis continues to work. Since Monday, the hot and cold shops of the enterprise have been working in two shifts. All key equipment is working,” Chief Sales Officer (CSO) Artem Atanasov said in a letter to customers on Friday.
At the same time, the company also continues to work on key resource-saving projects.
“Production is provided with pipe billets and all necessary materials,” he said in the letter.
He added that the logistics team is actively working to safely deliver products to customers. Sales offices around the world in Essen, Milan, Krakow, Lugano, Houston and Dubai are open, financial and administrative customer support departments also continue to work.
Centravis is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of seamless stainless steel pipes, founded in 2000. Its production facilities are located in Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk region). It is included in the top 10 global players, supplies pipes to more than 70 countries from different regions, in particular to Thyssenkrupp, Buhlmann, BMW, Alstom, Linde, Samsung, Volkswagen.

Ukraine plans to reach transshipment of 3-5 ships with grain per day

The opportunity to use all three seaports of Big Odesa within the framework of the Istanbul Grain Initiative will help increase transshipment volumes to three or five vessels a day within two weeks, Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov has said.
“Our goal is to increase transshipment in ports. Within two weeks we plan to reach the transshipment volume of three or five vessels per day,” the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) quoted him as saying in connection with the departure of the first vessel from the port of Pivdenny – Sacura with 11,000 tonnes of soybeans for Italy on Monday.
Earlier, as part of the grain initiative, eight vessels with corn, sunflower seeds and sunflower oil with a total tonnage of over 250,000 tonnes left the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk. Four of them with 84,500 tonnes have already arrived in Istanbul and have been or are being tested by the Joint Coordination Center.
Together with the vessel Arizona, which also left Chornomorsk for Turkey on Monday, carrying 48,500 tonnes of corn, the total number of vessels reached 10, and their tonnage was about 310,000 tonnes.
In addition, within the framework of the Istanbul Grain Initiative, the first vessel for loading since the beginning of the war has already arrived in the Ukrainian port on August 7, and the second on the same day was inspected by the Joint Coordination Center near Istanbul.
“We are working with the guarantors of the agreements so that the grain corridor works smoothly and all the requirements for shipping are met,” Kubrakov said.

“I remind you that the only effective way to counter the disease is vaccination … Depending on which vaccine was made first, you can do a booster dose of both Janssen, which is a vector vaccine, and Comirnaty Tris, which is an mRNA vaccine,” Khaustov said. .
According to him, since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in the region, about 2 million 850 thousand vaccinations have been made, while more than 1 million 100 thousand people have been vaccinated with two doses. Since February 24, 50,000 vaccinations have been made in the region, of which about 40,000 are booster doses.
Since February 24, 20 people have died from complications caused by COVID-19.
