AVIS Ukraine (VIP-Rent FDI) has renewed nearly 17% of its fleet over the past nine months, adding 60 new vehicles for rental and operational leasing. This marks the company’s largest fleet renewal in the past several years.
More than half of the new additions are SUVs. The fleet now includes, in particular, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, Volkswagen Touareg R-Line, Audi A6, and Hyundai Staria minivans. The new vehicles are already available to the company’s customers in Ukraine.
Toyota and Volkswagen accounted for the largest share of the fleet update, together making up over 55% of the new additions. Toyota’s share was 30.5%, while Volkswagen’s was about 25%. New Skoda and Hyundai vehicles were also added to the fleet.
Among individual models, the Toyota Hilux and Volkswagen Tiguan saw the largest increases. The company attributes this to demand for crossovers for travel and all-wheel-drive pickups used by corporate clients, infrastructure projects, and international organizations.
The Skoda Octavia A8—targeted specifically at the corporate segment—and the Hyundai Staria, designed for group transportation and serving large teams, also accounted for a significant share of the new fleet.
AVIS Ukraine simultaneously expanded its premium segment with the addition of the Volkswagen Touareg R-Line and the Audi A6. The company targets these vehicles primarily at business clients, diplomatic missions, and international organizations.
Diesel vehicles formed the bulk of the new additions—61% of all deliveries. The company attributes this composition to the fuel efficiency of diesel models over long distances and their high demand in the corporate segment.
At the same time, over 15% of deliveries in 2026 consisted of hybrid Toyota RAV4s. In this way, AVIS Ukraine is gradually increasing the share of fuel-efficient vehicles in its fleet.
The company has been operating in the Ukrainian market under the Avis brand since 1997, and under the Payless brand since 2016. It provides short-term car rental services for individuals, as well as operating leases and fleet management for corporate clients.
AVIS is an international provider of car rental and operating lease services, with a presence in 185 countries worldwide.
Citroёn has fulfilled an order to supply 290 vehicles to Ukrtelecom, the country’s largest fixed-line operator, with financing from Avis Ukraine, the automaker’s representative office in Ukraine has announced.
“This is the first experience of supplying Citroёn vehicles to Ukrtelecom. The deal was made through the Citroën Ilta Lviv dealership with financing from Avis Ukraine, which will also provide Ukrtelecom with a full package of operational leasing services: car maintenance at service stations, tire storage, replacement cars for the duration of service and other services,” the representative office said in a press release.
Avis Ukraine has been providing leasing services to Ukrtelecom for three years. As part of the fleet renewal, the operator requested vehicles that meet the company’s current development program.
“Citroёn cars showed the best ratio of consumer properties for a competitive price,” the company said in a statement without specifying the value of the agreement.
As part of the agreement, Ukrtelecom received 235 Citroёn Berlingo minivans and 55 Citroёn C-Elysée sedans.
The press release notes that as part of Ukrtelecom’s requirement to deliver the vehicles directly to the operator’s branches in all regional centers of Ukraine, the vehicles were prepared and delivered by Citroën Ilta Lviv, one of the largest dealers of Stellantis vehicles in Ukraine.
The official representative office of Citroën in Ukraine has been operating since 2010. Currently, the brand is represented by Stellantis.
In 2024, the company plans to increase Citroën sales in Ukraine by more than 1.5 times compared to 2023 – up to 3,057 thousand (including 2,885 thousand passenger cars).

Avis Ukraine, a company operating in the car rental and leasing market, has launched a new product – car leasing for individuals, according to its Facebook page.
“All our lives before that, we were engaged in organizing entire fleets of hundreds of cars on lease to large corporations. Before the war, we decided to start leasing cars for individuals as well, for several months we developed a product in order to bring it to the market enchantingly. Launched. Not enchanting. Absolutely not the way they wanted. Without a website and marketing. They just took it and launched it,” the company wrote.
She reports that the car can be taken on a long-term lease – for 2-3 years, while the monthly payment will be lower than when renting, and the company takes care of all issues with the acquisition, registration, maintenance, replacement and storage of tires, and even the sale .
“For example, a Toyota Yaris on a machine leased for two years will cost $399 per month,” Avis Ukraine reports.
