AFTER COMMISSIONING OF INTERCONNECTOR GREECE-BULGARIA, ROMANIA WILL BE ABLE TO SUPPLY GAS TO MOLDOVA AND UKRAINE

Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Chuque said that after the commissioning of the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector on Thursday, his country will be able to supply natural gas to Moldova and Ukraine, European Pravda reports with reference to the Romanian news portal Digi24.
“Essentially, this interconnector will connect the network passing through Anatolia and the Adriatic, as well as connect to the BRUA pipeline, thus ensuring gas supplies to Bulgaria and Romania,” Chuquet said at a press conference with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
“And, of course, we can provide gas supplies to our eastern partners – Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova and other countries according to the distribution scheme of this gas network,” the Romanian prime minister added.

COMMISSIONING OF HOUSING IN UKRAINE 20% UP IN Q1 2021

Commissioning of housing in Ukraine in January-March 2021 increased by 20.5% compared to the same period in 2020, to 2.306 million square meters, the State Statistics Service has reported.
At the same time, it is clarified that the data are given taking into account the housing introduced in accordance with the temporary procedure for the acceptance into operation of houses built without permission to perform construction work.
According to the report, since the beginning of the year, 1.609 million square meters have been commissioned in cities (70% of the total), 697,600 square meters in rural areas. At the same time, 43% of the total volume of housing was commissioned in single-family houses, 56.6% – in houses with two or more apartments, 0.4% – in dormitories.
In general, during the reporting period, 30,371 apartments were commissioned, while in cities – 24,100 apartments, in villages – 6,200 apartments.
The average apartment area was 75.6 square meter, while in single-family houses – 158 sq m, in multi-apartment buildings – 54.2 sq m.
In Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa and Ivano-Frankovsk regions, according to the results of the first quarter, 56% of the total housing volume was commissioned. Moreover, in Kyiv – 145,000 square meters (6.3%).
According to statistics, a decrease in the volume of housing commissioned was recorded in Sumy, Rivne, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Volyn regions.

KYIV CITY AND KYIV REGION LEADERS IN HOUSING COMMISSIONING IN UKRAINE

Housing commissioning in Ukraine in January-March 2019 increased 32.3% compared with the same period in 2018, to 2.453 million square meters. According to the report, 1.394 million square meters of housing were commissioned in cities in the first quarter (56.8% of the total volume), while 1.06 million square meters in rural areas. At the same time, 61.7% of the total housing was commissioned in single-family houses, 38.3% in houses with two or more apartments.
In general, during the reporting period some 26,098 apartments were commissioned, including 16,900 apartments in cities and 9,200 apartments in villages.
The average area of apartments was 94 square meters, while the average area of apartments in single-family houses was 154.1 square meters, in houses with several apartments – some 57.8 square meters.
Some 51.7% of the total volume of housing was commissioned in Kyiv city and region, as well as in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions, in particular, 174,300 square meters (7.1%) in Kyiv.

HOUSING COMMISSIONING IN UKRAINE 3.1% UP IN Q1 2018 – STATISTICS

Housing commissioning in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2018 increased by 3.1% compared to the first quarter of 2017, to 1.854 million square meters.
The State Statistics Service said these figures are given without taking into account the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol and certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
According to the report, 1.218 million square meters of housing were put into operation in cities in Q1 2017, while 636,100 square meters in rural areas. At the same time, 47.4% of the total volume of housing was commissioned in single-apartment houses, 52.6% in houses with two or more apartments.
In total, 22,400 apartments were put into operation over the quarter, in particular 16,800 apartments in urban areas and 5,600 apartments in rural areas.
The average area of apartments was 82.8 square meters, while the average area of apartments in urban areas was 71.5 square meters, in rural areas some 113.7 square meters.
