Burisma Group, a gas producer, in January 2019 started building a gas pipeline that would connect Vodianivske and Karaikozivske fields in Kharkiv region and plans to invest UAH 60 million in the project, the company’s press service has reported.
The company expects that the new gas pipeline will allow boosting efficiency of operation and management of flows between the two fields. The length of the new gas pipeline will be 16.6 km.
Burisma Holdings controls Energy & Service Company Esko-Pivnich, LLC KUB-Gas, LLC Pari, the First Ukrainian Gas and Oil Company, SystemOilEngineering, Nadragas, Aldea-Ukraine, Burisma Service, Tehnokomservis, NadraGazVydobuvannia, GasOilInvest, and NGPGeo (Oil and Gas Industrial Geologia).
Mykola Zlochevsky is Burisma’s beneficiary.
KSG Agro plans to build a sow farm for UAH 11 million at its pig complex in 2019, the press service of the company has told Interfax-Ukraine. “In 2019, the construction of a new sow house for 714 heads is planned, the planned investments are UAH 11 million,” the company said.
According to the company, in 2018, KSG Agro began the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities adjacent to the pig complex. In particular, the company began construction of a sewage pumping station, investing UAH 2.5 million in equipment. Also, the agricultural holding in 2018 invested UAH 1 million in equipment for the agricultural waste incinerator for securely disposing of pig waste.
According to KSG Agro, infrastructure investments have allowed the company to increase sales of pig products in monetary terms to UAH 403 million (a rise of 6.3% compared with 2017).
“The stake on the reconstruction of pig-breeding capacities hit the target. Throughout last year, the volume of consumers’ applications steadily exceeded our production capacity. As a result, the average sales price exceeded the same indicator in 2017 by 16.5%, amounting to about UAH 44 per kg,” Board Chairman Serhiy Kasianov said.
At the same time, in quantitative terms, the agricultural holding reduced sales to 93,000 heads (in 2017 it was 106,500 heads). According to the company, the average annual number of pigs in 2018 at the pig farm in the village of Nyva Trudova in Dnipropetrovsk region there was about 55,000 pigs.
KSG Аgro is a vertically integrated agricultural group, working in almost all the segments of the agricultural market, including the production, storage, processing, and sale of agricultural products.
The Wind Parks of Ukraine Group has started building a wind farm near Kramatorsk (Donetsk region). Atomwind-Kramatorsk LLC is the customer of the project.
MP Maxim Efimov wrote on his Facebook page that on January 19, 2019 the concrete casting of foundation was started for the first wind unit.
At the end of 2018, PJSC Energomashspetsstal (Kramatorsk) made a nacelle of 43.5 tonnes. In January 2019, its processing was completed by Kramatorsk Heavy Tool-Building Plant (KZTS).
This year it is planned to install three wind units made by Fuhrlander Windtechnology (Kramatorsk) with a power handling capacity of 4.5 MW and 4.8 MW. It will take three years to build the wind farm with 15 wind units.
Energomashspetsstal in 2019 plans to produce 15 rotor drive shafts for wind farms with a capacity of 4.5 MW.
Fuhrlander Windtechnology is the sole producer of modern wind units in Ukraine. The beneficiaries of the company are the co-owner of ISD Corporation Oleh Mkrtchan and MP Efimov (Petro Poroshenko Block parliamentary faction).
The construction of a hotel at Boryspil International Airport will begin this spring, and a total of four hotels can be built at the airport, director general of the airport Pavlo Riabikin has said in an interview with the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
“We have issued technical conditions for connecting to networks for two objects that are positioned as hotels. Private investors are building them. Two more companies are interested. Therefore, we consider four potential hotels. Construction work at one of them will start this spring,” he said.
According to the airport’s director, if construction companies successfully implement their plans, about 200 rooms could appear at the airport, which will allow to cover the basic demand.
Riabikin also noted that he had not heard “any well-known names from the point of view of hotel business operators,” but he connects this with the fact that the operators themselves do not build housing but manage.
The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) is considering a possibility of participation in financing of construction of a wind farm in Kherson region with an installed capacity of 250 MW by SyvashEnergoProm LLC, a subsidiary of Norway’s NBT, the bank has reported on its website.
The sum of financing is not specified.
As reported, early September 2018, an agreement on the implementation of an international investment project to build a complex of wind farms in Kherson region with NBT to play the leading role in the project was signed. The wind farm would allow satisfying almost the half of the needs in electricity in Kherson region. According to the project, by the end of next year 67 wind turbines will be installed along the coast of the Syvash Lake. Total investment under the agreement is almost $450 million.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will consider a loan worth up to EUR 150 million for SyvashEnergoProm LLC for the construction of the wind farm, of which up to EUR 75 million would be funded from the EBRD resources and the remainder would be syndicated in a B-loan structure to eligible institutions.
NBT acquired SyvashEnergoProm in Kherson, Ukraine in April 2018. The plan is to construct a wind farm with installed capacity in the range of 250–330 MW, the company said.
In 2006, Kherson Regional State Administration transferred the unfinished Syvash wind power plant to concession to SyvashEnergoProm until 2055.
