NYVA BILA TO BUILD ELEVATOR IN UKRAINE

Nyva Bila LLC (Ternopil region) plans to invest $4.7 million in the construction of an elevator in Chortkiv (Ternopil region), according to the website of Chortkiv City Council.
According to the report, the capacity of the elevator will be 40,000 tonnes of grain. It is planned to build it in 2021–2022.
The structure of the elevator will also include a granary with equipment for drying and storing grain.
“Investors need a land plot with an approximate area of 8 hectares within the Chortkiv territorial community. The territory of the Chortkiv-West industrial park is one of the likely places which investors can enter,” the report said.
According to the unified state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the ultimate beneficiaries of Nyva Bila LLC are Karel Ole Van Der Vorm and Martinus Van Der Vorm, the founders indicate Southberg Holdings LLC (Kyiv).

AGROMINO BUYS KERNEL’S ELEVATOR

The Danish agricultural company Agromino with assets in Ukraine, the Russian Federation and Estonia is buying Hutiansky Elevator LLC, which belongs to Kernel, one of the largest Ukrainian agricultural groups.
According to the information on the website of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the agency will consider this issue on June 6.
According to the AMC, Kovyahy Grain LLC (Kharkiv region) wants to acquire an integrated property complex (elevator), which is owned by Hutiansky Elevator LLC.
According to the state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, Kovyahy Grain is owned by Danish-based Agromino, and the owner of Hutiansky Elevator is Kernel-Capital, Kernel-Trade and AMC Progressive Investment Strategies, the ultimate beneficiary is Andriy Verevsky.
As reported, in May 2019 the AMC allowed Verevsky to buy an elevator of Mriya in Ternopil region.
Agromino (formerly Trigon Agri) was created in 2006. It specializes in grain and dairy production, trade in crops.

DNIPRO AGRO GROUP RAISES LAND BANK BY 16%, ALMOST DOUBLES ELEVATOR CAPACITY

Dnipro Agro Group in 2018 increased its land bank to 50,300 hectares (16% or 7,000 hectares more), according to the company’s website.
According to the company, Dnipro Agro Group also almost doubled the capacity of elevators, to 124,000 tonnes. In addition, the company launched a pig breeding project for 1,300 animals.
According to the report, in the 2018 marketing year Dnipro Agro Group collected 69.8 tonnes of grain and 76.1 tonnes of oilseeds.
Dnipro Agro Group is a vertically integrated group of companies whose core business is production, storage and sale of grains and oilseeds.

GRAIN ALLIANCE TO INCREASE ELEVATOR CAPACITY TO 350,000

Grain Alliance, a large agricultural producer in Ukraine, intends to increase its elevator capacity by 100,000 tonnes in the coming years, to 350,000 tonnes.
“In the coming years, we plan to add up to 100,000 tonnes to Grain Alliance’s capacities. But we will focus on the throughput capacity of the existing facilities. We plan to bring the average figure for the holding to 2.5 circulations at all elevator enterprises in the near future,” the company’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine.
The company clarified that in 2018 Grain Alliance increased its land bank by 3,000 hectares.
“Our company does not aim to build up the land bank at any cost. We understand well that land is not a goal, but the means of achieving a goal. Accordingly, we are not ready to overpay for land and infrastructure. However, the company is gradually raising its land bank, in particular, due to growth in villages where the holding is doing business,” the press service noted.
Grain Alliance cultivates more than 50,000 hectares of agricultural land in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, and Chernihiv regions.

VINN-AGRO-EXPORT INVESTS $12 MLN IN BUILDING ELEVATOR IN VINNYTSIA REGION

Vinn-Agro-Export LLC (Vinnytsia region) has begun the construction of an elevator with a capacity of 65,000 tonnes in the village Makharyntsi (Vinnytsia region). According to a report on the website of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, in an hour the elevator will be able to accept up to 600 tonnes of grain and ship up to 300 tonnes. In addition, the company plans to build a railway track branch. In future, the elevator will ship up to 50 wagons a day.
The company also plans to build a laboratory to determine grain chemical and biological composition. The expected investment is $12 million.
Vinn-Agro-Export is engaged in wholesale of grain, untreated tobacco, seeds and animal feed. According to the unified state register of legal entities and individuals, Anatoliy Yarmolenko is the ultimate beneficiary of Vinn-Agro-Export.

PIATYDNI WILL LAUNCH 70,000 TONNES ELEVATOR IN VOLYN REGION

Piatydni LLC (Volyn region) will launch an elevator with a capacity of almost 70,000 tonnes of grain and oilseeds in Volodymyr-Volynsky (Volyn region) in 2018.
According to a report on the website of Volyn Regional State Administration, the value of the object is $8 million.
The construction of the elevator began in February of this year. It will provide a full range of services for accepting, cleaning, drying, storing and shipping grain and oilseeds.
“Modern equipment and the availability of several lines allow simultaneously receiving not only different crops, but also grain of different quality and humidity. In addition, the elevator will load trains with raw materials for exports,” the administration said.
The company will be able to ship 25 wagons per day. Some 80 jobs will be created here.
Piatydni LLC was established in 2006. It specializes in production, processing and sale of agricultural products, cultivates almost 16,500 hectares of land.
