IRISH LOW-COST AIR CARRIER RYANAIR TO LAUNCH FLIGHT FROM KYIV TO MADRID

The Irish low-cost air carrier Ryanair from October 2019 will open flights from Kyiv to Madrid.
According to the airline’s press release, flights on the Kyiv-Madrid route will be operated four times a week as part of the Ryanair Kyiv Winter 2019 extended schedule, which will be launched shortly.
“The full schedule of Ryanair Kyiv Winter 2019 will be made public soon,” the airline said.
Flights will be carried out from Boryspil International Airport.
As reported, Ryanair announced that in 2019 it plans to open five new flights from Ukraine to Athens (Greece), Dublin (Ireland), Manchester (the United Kingdom), Sofia (Bulgaria), and Paphos (Cyprus) twice a week.

TURKISH AIRLINES TO LAUNCH DIRECT BODRUM-KYIV FLIGHT FROM APRIL 6

Turkish Airlines (Turkey) from April 6, 2019 will launch direct regular flights from Bodrum to Kyiv once a week.
“We are pleased to announce the opening of a direct flight on the Bodrum-Kyiv-Bodrum route, which is a popular vacation destination among Ukrainians,” director general of the Turkish Airlines representative office in Kyiv Dincer Sayici said.
Bodrum-Kyiv-Bodrum flights will be operated by the Turkish air carrier once a week on Saturdays with departure from Bodrum at 01:15, from Kyiv at 04:40 local time.
The network of Turkish Airlines routes in Ukraine covers Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhia.

LATVIA’S AIRBALTIC TO LAUNCH FLIGHT FROM LVIV TO RIGA

Latvia’s airBaltic will launch direct regular flights on the Riga-Lviv-Riga route from April 1, 2019.
Accordig to the booking system, airBaltic will operate flights between Riga and Lviv four times weekly: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from Riga and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Satrudays and Sundays from Lviv.
The round trip ticket prices start from EUR 130.
airBaltic also flies to Kyiv and Odesa.
airBaltic connects the Baltic region with 70 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and the CIS. The state of Latvia owns 80.05% of the airline, and Aircraft Leasing 1 holds 20%.

ITALIAN ERNEST AIRLINES PLANS TO LAUNCH KYIV-GENOA FLIGHT NEXT YEAR

Ernest Airlines (Italy) plans in March 2019 to begin regular flights from Kyiv Sikorsky Airport (Zhuliany) to Genoa (Italy), the press service of the airport has reported.
According to a press release, this decision was announced by the regional manager of the airline during the opening of Kyiv-Rome and Kyiv-Milan (Malpensa) flights on October 19.
Earlier, Kharkiv International Airport announced the opening of regular flights of Ernest Airlines to Rome and Milan from March 21, 2019.
At the moment, the airline’s website has a timetable until the end of March 2019, in which flights from Ukraine to Milan, Rome and Naples are made from Kyiv and Lviv airports, as well as Kyiv-Bologna and Lviv-Venice destinations.
Ernest Airlines is an Italian airline headquartered in Milan. The main operations center of the company is located in Tirana (Albania). The airline is a low cost carrier. It serves Italian and Albanian markets. Currently, the airline’s fleet includes two Airbus-319 and Airbus-320 aircraft, but it is planned to replenish it with two more Airbus-320 aircraft by the end of this year.

UKRAINE AND SERBIA IN TALKS OF LAUNCHING BELGRADE-KYIV FLIGHT

Ukraine and Serbia are holding talks to launch the Belgrade-Kyiv regular flight, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said.
“We have started the negotiations… on the launch of a new regular flight between Belgrade and Kyiv,” Vucic said after the talks with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Belgrade on Tuesday.
He said that the launch of the flight would help to establish business and cultural ties between Ukraine and Serbia.
Vucic said that last year over 10,000 tourists from Ukraine visited Serbia.
“We believe that this tourist flow would grow more,” he said.
The Serbian president showed the interest that citizens of Serbia travel to Ukraine.

IRISH RYANAIR TO LAUNCH FLIGHT FROM KYIV TO POLAND’S BYDGOSZCZ IN OCTOBER

Ryanair, the largest European low-cost airline, will launch a new flight from Kyiv to Bydgoszcz, the administrative center of Poland’s Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, on October 31.
“+1 Ryanair flight from Boryspil to Poland as soon as this fall. In total, there are 17 directions handled by this company between Ukraine and the EU, and this fall there will be pleasant surprises from Europe’s No. 1 carrier!” Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan wrote on Facebook on June 26.
According to Ryanair’s booking system, flights to Bydgoszcz will be carried out twice a week – on Wednesdays and Sundays. Currently, prices start from EUR22 (one way).
Taking into account this route, Ryanair offers flights from Kyiv to six Polish cities and one destination to Germany, Spain, Lithuania, Slovakia, the United Kingdom and Sweden each, as well as two routes from Lviv to Germany and Poland each, and one to the United Kingdom.
