Turkey has allocated Ukraine the last package of 1 thousand licenses for transportation to / from third countries in accordance with the agreement reached at the end of 2023, said the Deputy Minister of development of communities, territories and infrastructure Sergiy Derkach.
“Plus 1 thousand permits from Turkey for transportation to/from third countries. Ukrainian carriers can continue to perform transportation to / from third countries with Turkey. The corresponding forms of permits are already in “Ukrtransbezpek” and are available for ordering,” Derkach wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
According to him, the permits were issued in accordance with the agreement that was reached at the end of 2023, which will allow to close the need before the end of the year.”
“I will remind you that earlier this year, for the first time since 2018, we managed to agree with Turkey to increase the number of such permits by 40% – up to 3,500,” Derkach wrote, indicating that the market has already used 2,500 permits.
The Deputy Minister recalled that bilateral and transit traffic between Ukraine and Turkey do not require permits, as freight traffic between the countries is liberalized. “Visa-free” will be valid at least until the end of martial law.
As part of the deregulation reform, the Ministry of Economy has amended the order “On the Procedure for Licensing the Export of Goods,” according to which Ukrainian exporters will receive licenses in electronic form, the ministry’s press service reports.
“Digitalization of services provided by the state to business is one of the key components of deregulation. We are currently fully transferring the process of obtaining licenses by exporters to an electronic format. And we are working on a similar simplification of the procedure for importers. In addition, we are simplifying the process of obtaining permits by reducing the number of documents required to apply for a license,” said First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.
According to the amended order, entrepreneurs will be able to submit documents and obtain licenses in electronic form, while they can also submit documents in paper form if they wish.
In addition, the list of documents required to obtain a license has been shortened. The amendments to the Order also update the license application form, the license form, instructions for filling them out, and the regulations on the licensing procedure.
In order to obtain licenses for the export of goods from Ukraine, entrepreneurs who have chosen the electronic form of submitting documents should go to the section “Foreign Economic Activity” on the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services at https://my.gov.ua/info/service/2817 /details.
The entrepreneur must submit a package of required documents in his/her electronic cabinet. After they are reviewed within the established timeframe and if a positive decision is made, the license will appear in the applicant’s account in electronic form.
If a person submits documents in paper form and wants to receive a response by e-mail, then at the stage of submitting documents, they must provide the recipient’s mail address and indicate that they want to receive a response in this way.
The Ministry of Economy noted that during martial law, the issuance of licenses for the export and import of goods is free of charge. Therefore, the letter of application for a license does not require a guarantee of payment of the state fee for its issuance and an upload of a package of documents.
The Interagency Working Group on Accelerated Review of State Regulatory Instruments for Business has already reviewed more than 1,300 regulatory instruments for business, of which 456 are recommended to be canceled and 584 to be simplified, the Ministry reminded.

Ukrainian athletes have received 124 licenses to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France), said Vadym Gutzeit, president of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine (NOC).
“As of today, we have 124 licenses in total. These are 140 sportsmen and women who will participate in the Olympic Games. We have completed the selection for the Olympic Games, Ukraine finally has 124 licenses,” Gutzeit said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
According to him, on July 8, the NOC has already submitted an application to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the team composition.
The head of the NOC said that Ukraine will be represented at the Olympics in almost all sports, except for the games.
At the same time, he emphasized that for the first time since the country’s independence, the Ukrainian national football team qualified for the Olympics.
As reported, the Summer Olympics in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11.
On June 17, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has agreed with MetLife PJSC, specializing in life insurance, to expand the scope of the license for direct insurance and incoming reinsurance.
According to the regulator’s website, the company has received the right to carry out insurance in the classes of accident insurance (including industrial injury and occupational disease) and sickness insurance (including health insurance).
The message also underlines that taking into account this extension the license of PJSC “MetLife” is considered to be reissued.
According to the statements of PJSC “MetLife”, the volume of insurance premiums of the company in the specified period amounted to UAH 2,489 billion, insurance reserves – UAH 6,186 billion.
For 2023 the insurer has paid out insurance indemnities in the amount of UAH 516,6 mln.
The share of the company by the volume of insurance reserves in the life insurance market is 31,3%.

The National Bank of Ukraine has decided to apply to PJSC Insurance Company Salamandra (Kiev) a measure of influence in the form of revocation of all licenses, according to the regulator’s website.
Also, in compliance with the requirements of the law “On Insurance”, in connection with the presence of the company’s obligations under insurance (reinsurance, coinsurance) contracts on May 14, 2024 decided to appoint a temporary administration in PJSC “IC “Salamandra” and removal of the governing bodies from the management of the company.
These decisions have been taken according to the results of planned inspection, conducted in October-December 2023, during which it was established the fact of realization by IC of risk activity, threatening the interests of creditors and insurers, namely formation of insurance reserves in insufficient amount (more than 10% of their sufficient amount, determined by the legislation of Ukraine) three times during the calendar year.
The decision on application of the measure of influence came into force on May 14, 2024.
After taking this decision, the temporary administrator should immediately begin to fulfill his duties, is noted in the message.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the form of the declaration of compliance of the material and technical base of small distillers with the requirements of the law and determined the procedure for its submission and registration.
The relevant Resolution No. 56 of January 19, 2024 was published on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the document, small distillers will be able to submit a declaration of compliance of the material and technical base with the legal requirements to the territorial bodies of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection. Instead of the production certificate, they will be able to use the declaration of compliance of the material and technical base registered by the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection to obtain licenses for the production of alcohol distillates and alcoholic beverages, which will greatly simplify this procedure.
It is expected that the adopted innovations will ensure the development of the market for alcohol distillates and alcoholic beverages, stimulate the development and legalization of small businesses, and contribute to the creation of new jobs, particularly in rural areas.
