International chain JYSK on Thursday opened a new store in Sofia Mall (Kiev region, Sofievska Borschagovka, Heroes of Heavenly Sotnya Avenue, 24/83), the company’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine.
“JYSK is expanding the geography of stores in Ukraine. We see the demand for our goods both in cities with a million inhabitants and in satellite cities, which offer a new quality of life to residents of conurbations. The new store has an area of 1280 square meters, as well as an additional outside area for garden furniture exhibition of almost 100 square meters. meters.
Like all new JYSK stores, the store is built in accordance with the modern concept of the chain 3.0, with new lighting, spacious design and zonal placement of product categories.
Since the beginning of 2023, the JYSK chain has opened three new stores and revamped the operations of two existing stores. Two more new stores are expected to open before the end of summer – in Kamenskoye, Dnipro region, and in Drohobych, Lviv region, as well as the reorganization of one of Kyiv stores into a new format.
JYSK is part of the family-owned Lars Larsen Group, with more than 3.2 thousand stores in 48 countries. JYSK’s revenue in fiscal year 2021/22 amounted to EUR 4.87 bln.
Currently, there are 88 JYSK stores and online store jysk.ua in Ukraine. The company notes that this figure should increase to 100 already in 2024. JYSK has over 800 employees in Ukraine.
The company “ATB-Market” after the restoration and reconstruction on Thursday, June 1, opened the fourth store “ATB” in Bucha, Kiev region on Tarasovskaya Street 2-V, the press service of the company said.

The Arber chain of clothing stores has opened its first store abroad, in Georgia, the network’s press service said.
“Now we demonstrate style and quality of Ukrainian production in Georgia. Arber has won the hearts of more than a million domestic customers and now we are entering a new level,” – stated on the official Facebook page of the company.

On Thursday, July 28, a chain of furniture and household goods stores JYSK opened a store in the Maidan shopping center in Chervonohrad (Lviv region), the retailer’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine.
The press service said that JYSK occupied a space for a store with an area of 982 square meters in the Maidan shopping center and the storage space of 282 square meters.

Swedish fashion retailer H&M will open its sixth store in Kyiv on December 10 in the Respublika Park shopping and entertainment center, the press service of the retailer reported.

Ukraine, with financial support from the U.S. government, will receive $2.8 million worth of refrigeration equipment for storing COVID-19 vaccines at primary health care facilities and when using by mobile teams.
According to a press release from UNICEF, which supplied the equipment, funds for the purchase of the equipment were provided by USAID.
Some 3,100 vaccination points, 1,034 of which operate on the basis of primary health care facilities, and 800 mobile teams, will receive equipment.
The equipment includes 5,643 thermal containers, 8,100 thermal bags, 197,730 ice packs and 27,486 temperature monitoring devices.
The first batch of equipment was delivered on September 30 and includes 2,700 thermal bags in which COVID-19 vaccines can be stored at temperatures from +2 to + 8 ° C.
In the future, this equipment can be used for the transportation and storage of vaccines provided for by the national immunization schedule.
Currently, USAID has allocated about $10 million to support vaccinations in Ukraine and donated almost $2.2 million of COVID-19 vaccines to Ukraine as part of the COVAX mechanism.
