Ukraine since the beginning of 2022/2023 marketing year (MY, July-June) and till April 10 has exported 38.82 million tons of grain crops, including 22.86 million tons of corn (58.9% of total supplies), 13.34 million tons of wheat (34.4%) and 2.3 million tons of barley (5.9%).
As reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on Monday, the rate of grain exports since the beginning of this MY is 14.3% lower than the same period of the previous MY, when 45.26 million tons were delivered abroad on that date.
According to the Ministry, Ukraine exported 22.86 million tons of corn (+9.5% compared to the same period last year), 13.33 million tons of wheat (-23%), 2.3 million tons of barley (2.4 times less), 17.7 thousand tons of rye (9.1 times less) and 120.1 thousand tons of flour (+56.9%) from the beginning of 2022/2023 MY to April 10 this year.
It is specified that Ukraine exported 848 thousand tons of cereals, including 476 tons of corn, 337 tons of wheat, 33 thousand tons of barley and 4.2 tons of flour in March.
As reported, Ukraine exported 48.51 million tons of cereals and leguminous crops in 2021/2022 MY, which is 8.4% higher than in the previous MY, despite the full-scale invasion of Russia and the difficulties with the export of agricultural products due to the blockade of Ukrainian seaports. 18.74 million tons of wheat (12.6% more than in 2020/2021MY), 23.54 million tons of corn (+1.9%), 5.75 million tons of barley (+35.9%), 70.9 thousand tons of flour (-44.1%) were supplied to foreign markets.
Ukraine in 2020/2021 MY exported 44.72 million tons of grain and leguminous crops: 16.64 million tons of wheat, 23.08 million tons of corn, 4.23 million tons of barley, 126.9 thousand tons of flour and 18.4 thousand tons of rye.
In 2019/2020 MY, Ukraine exported 56.72 million tons of grain and leguminous crops.
The total export of Ukrainian flour as of April 10 is estimated at 120.1 thousand tons (in April – 4.3 thousand tons), including wheat – 115.5 thousand tons (4.2 thousand tons).
There are almost 7 million internally displaced persons in Ukraine, of which 4.8 million are registered, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk said.
“Today we have 4.8 million registered internally displaced persons. There are almost 7 million IDPs in total,” she said on the air of the national telethon on Monday afternoon.
Vereshchuk noted that 1 million IDPs are children.
According to her, out of 4.8 million registered IDPs, 1.1 million people became IDPs twice.
The NovaPay payment system from Nova Posta group will start a public offering of its debut issue of three-year bonds worth UAH 100mn on April 14.
According to the prospectus, the bonds are issued with one coupon to be paid simultaneously with maturity – from April 14 to April 20, 2026, with nominal yield of 20% per annum.
NovaPay will independently place the bonds on the PFTS stock exchange; the planned sale price is at par, but it can be revised upwards depending on demand.
The issuer does not offer a mandatory offer, but allows early redemption by agreement of the parties at an agreed upon cost between them.

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Japarova, who arrived in India on a two-day visit, held a meeting with the Secretary of the Western Direction of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs Sanjay Verma.
“Pleased to meet with the Secretary of the Western Direction of the Ministry of External Affairs of India Sanjay Verma in New Delhi. Informed about Ukraine’s efforts to combat unprovoked Russian aggression. Invited India to join the “peace formula” initiated by President Zelensky and the “Grain from Ukraine” initiative. In turn, Verma on Twitter welcomed Japarova to India.

According to the website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, First Deputy Foreign Minister Japarova will pay a visit to India on April 10-11.
The program of stay in New Delhi includes meetings with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs – Minister of State for Culture of India Minakashi Lekhi, Deputy Foreign Minister of India Sanjay Verma and Deputy National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of India Vikram Misri.

The Netherlands will provide Ukrainian farmers with EUR10 million for the demining of agricultural land and EUR40 million for the purchase of seeds and agricultural equipment as part of a total package of EUR180 million in aid to Ukraine, members of the Dutch Parliament’s Agriculture Committee said at a meeting in the Verkhovna Rada.
“We would welcome the Netherlands’ assistance in demining to speed up this process. After all, this is one of the most pressing problems of farmers, especially in the southern and eastern regions,” said Oleksandr Haidu, head of the Parliamentary Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy.
He suggested paying attention to projects to restore and modernize irrigation and drainage systems, expanding new logistics routes with the EU to help Ukrainian farmers export agricultural products.
