The growth of capital investments in Ukraine in July-September 2021 compared to the same period in 2020 amounted to 18.7%, while in April-June the growth was 17.1%, and in January-March there was a decline in capital investments at the level of 9.5%, the State Statistics Service said.According to the service, in the third quarter of this year, UAH 331.666 billion of capital investments were spent (excluding the temporarily occupied Crimea, Sevastopol and the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions).The growth of capital investments in the first nine months of this year compared to the same period last year amounted to 9.7%, the State Statistics Service said.In the regional context, a decrease in capital investments in the third quarter of 2021 from the third quarter of 2020 was recorded in Luhansk (by 6.7%) and Kherson (by 5.7%) regions.Capital investments in July-September 2021 compared to July-September 2020 increased in Lviv (by 83.6%), Ivano-Frankivsk (by 80.5%), Kyiv (by 80.4%), Chernivtsi (by 59%), Vinnytsia (42.8%), Cherkasy (41.5%), Zakarpattia (35%), Ternopil (32.1%), Odesa (27.1%), Rivne (25.2%), Kharkiv (by 23.8%), Chernihiv (by 18.5%), Volyn (by 16.7%), Zaporizhia (by 17.8%), Dnipropetrovsk (by 11.6%), Kirovohrad (10.9%), Donetsk (10.3%), Mykolaiv (10.1%), Khmelnytsky (12%) regions and Kyiv (5.6%).
Nissan’s dealer network in Ukraine has been replenished with a new center – Autocentre Kherson, it has become the 32nd auto-brand dealer center in the country, the press service of Nissan Motor Ukraine reports. According to it, the service facilities of the auto center are located on an area of 1,100 square meters. They include six lifts, a car wash, a running gear and electrical equipment diagnostic station, a tire fitting station and a spare parts warehouse.According to the state register, Autocentre Kherson LLC was registered in 2011. Its owners are Ihor Samodin (60%) from Kherson region and Oleksandr Diadev (40%) from Mykolaiv.The new Nissan car center is located 5 km from Mykolaiv highway.Autocentre Kherson has dealer auto centers of Mitsubishi and Škoda.Nissan Motor Ukraine is a subsidiary of the Japanese corporation Nissan Motor. It started its activity in April 2005 and performs the function of importer and distributor of Nissan and Infiniti in Ukraine.According to the Ukrautoprom association, 355 Nissan cars were sold in Ukraine in October 2021 (11% less than in October 2020), while the market for new passenger cars fell by 5.6% that month, to 7,965 units.
Ukraine reduced steel production by 3.3% in October 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, and by 6.2% compared to the previous month, to 1.599 million tonnes, down from 13th in 14th place in the ranking of 64 countries – the major world producers of these products, compiled by the World Steel Association (Worldsteel).In October 2021, an increase in steel production compared with October 2020 was recorded in most of the top ten countries, except for China and South Korea.The top ten steel-producing countries in October 2021 was as follows: China (71.580 million tonnes, a 23.3% drop compared to October 2020), India (9.793 million tonnes, an increase of 2.4%), Japan (8.224 million tonnes, an increase of 14.3%), the United States (7.501 million tonnes, an increase of 20.5%), the Russian Federation (6.06 million tonnes, an increase of 0.5%), South Korea (5.8 million tonnes, a decrease of 1%), Germany (3.655 million tonnes, an increase of 7%), Turkey (3.464 million tonnes, an increase of 8%), Brazil (3.150 million tonnes, an increase of 10.4%) and Italy (2.210 million tonnes, an increase of 4.2%).They are followed by Iran (2.190 million tonnes, a decrease of 15.3%), Taiwan (China, 1.950 million tonnes, an increase of 16.6%), Vietnam (1.888 million tonnes, an increase of 6.8%), Ukraine (1.599 million, a decline of 3.3%) and Mexico (1.550 million tonnes, 0.2% more).In general, in October this year, steel production decreased by 10.6% compared to the same period last year, to 145.666 million tonnes.In January-October 2021, the top ten steel-producing countries was the following: China (877.050 million tonnes, a decrease of 0.7%), India (96.932 million tonnes, an increase of 20.6%), Japan (80.357 million tonnes, an increase of 17.5%), the United States (71.717 million tonnes, 19.6% more), Russia (62.503 million tonnes, an increase of 5.7%), South Korea (58.667 million tonnes, an increase of 5.9%), Germany (33.561 million tonnes, an increase of 15.1%), Turkey (33.333 million tonnes, an increase of 14.2%), Brazil (30.320 million tonnes, an increase of 19.1%) and Iran (22.374 million tonnes, a decrease of 5.7%).They are followed by Italy (20.720 million tonnes, an increase of 23.9%), Vietnam (19.684 million tonnes, an increase of 27.5%), Taiwan (China, 19.188 million tonnes, an increase of 11%), Ukraine (17.893 million tonnes, 5.4% more) and Mexico (15.557 million tonnes, 12.8% more).In January-October 2021, 64 countries produced 1.607 billion tonnes of steel, which is 5.9% more than in the same period last year.

Ukraine has registered 14,325 new cases of COVID-19, as well as 29,044 recoveries and 595 deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry said on Wednesday. “Over 13 million people have received at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine! Since the beginning of vaccination for COVID-19, more than 23 million shots have been administered in Ukraine. Over the past day, November 23, Ukraine has recorded 14,325 new cases of COVID-19 (including 1,183 children and 287 medical workers), while 286,121 people have been vaccinated for COVID-19, among them 86,299 who received their first shot and 199,822 who have completed their vaccination. In the past 24 hours, 4,077 people have been hospitalized, 595 have died, and 29,044 have recovered,” the ministry said on Telegram.Since the beginning of the pandemic, Ukraine has seen a total of 3,367,461 coronavirus infections, including 2,825,641 recoveries and 82,913 deaths.As of this date, 13,000,634 people have been vaccinated for COVID-19 in Ukraine, including 13,000,632 who have received the first shot and 10,225,182 who have been fully vaccinated. As many as 23,225,814 shots have been administered to date.
