Krayina Insurance Company (Kyiv) in January-June 2019 received UAH 205.1 million of gross insurance premiums, which is 39.46% more compared to the same period in 2018, the Expert-Rating agency has said updating the rating of the company at the level of “uaAA+” according to the national scale for the specified period.
Part of insurance premiums owned by reinsurers grew by 2.4 times and amounted to 3.71%.
Insurance payments for the first six months of 2019 increased by 19.74%. The ratio between payments and gross premiums amounted to 48.26%, which is quite a high level of payments for companies specializing in conventional types of insurance, the agency notes.
The company’s assets as of June 30, 2019 remained practically unchanged and amounted to UAH 234.930 million, gross liabilities increased by 5.5%, to UAH 127.370 million, net worth decreased by 5.56%, to UAH 107.560 million. As a result, the company’s capitalization decreased by 9.89 percentage points, to 84.44%.
Krayina insurer has been operating in the insurance market of Ukraine since 1994. It has licenses for 23 types of insurance.
Reikartz Hotel Management LLC (Kyiv), the managing company of the national hotel chain Reikartz Hotel Group, has signed an agreement to manage the Soniachny Provans (Sunny Provence) hotel in Sataniv (Khmelnytsky region), which has become part of the network under the Vita Park brand.
“The Soniachny Provans hotel in Khmelnytsky region has become a new member and the seventh resort hotel in the Reikartz Hotel Group chain. From August 1, the hotel starts operating under the name Vita Park Soniachny Provans ” Reikartz said on its website.
According to the report, the hotel has 99 rooms of various categories, as well as a restaurant, a conference room, a swimming pool, as well as a SPA center.
“Work on the implementation of operating, sales and marketing standards is already underway. The company plans not only to develop a finished product, but also expand the range of services for guests. Soon, a full-fledged Swedish line and a team of animators will begin to work in the hotel,” the operating director of Reikartz Hotel Group, Andriy Dema, said.
Reikartz Hotel Management LLC was established in 2008.
Risoil S.A. Group of Companies has opened ‘Bond’ crowding pen for the motor vehicles that can afford 70 trucks at Risoil Terminal grain terminal in Chornomorsk port (Odesa region).
As the company said on Facebook, this is the second crowding pen for the vehicles due to which Risoil Terminal will accept up to 100 motor vehicles.
“The main function of the facility is the accumulation and dispatching control of the movement of the cargo vehicles following unloading at the Risoil Terminal,” Risoil said.
Besides, along with the opening of the pen, the terminal launches a system of automatic control and a system of motor recording based on Jit+ program.
“This mobile application is purposed for the truck drivers. Only tested elevators and vehicles can use the platform. Using the application, documents are processed quickly, and the cargo is delivered in time. Thanks to Jit +, you can also monitor the location of all machines,” reads the report.

Nova Poshta Moldova through January-June 2019 doubled a number of deliveries compared to the same period in 2018, Nova Poshta Georgia saw 32% rise in the similar indicator, Nova Poshta Group of Companies reported on its website.

A group of Members of Parliament in charge of preparations for the first meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation has decided to hold such a meeting on August 29. “Our political force proposes holding the first meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation on August 29,” MP from the Servant of the People Party Dmytro Razumkov, who was tapped to head the group, said at a meeting on Friday.
He put the motion to the vote, and most members of the group supported it.
The National Commission for the Financial Service Markets Regulation through January-June 2019 received 2,537 complaints concerned insurance companies, which was 3.1% less during the similar period of 2018.
Leaders in the number of complaints wereOmega (157, UAH 8.71 million was additionally paid), Halytska (155, UAH 1.29 million), Oranta (140, UAH 2.7 million), and ASKA (129, UAH 5.99 million).
Some 581 complaints were received against these insurance companies. These companies paid UAH 18.69 million after consideration of complaints by the commission.
Total additional payments by insurers after consideration of complaints over the period reached UAH 48.92 million.
The commission said that complaints arrived from individuals and legal entities, including people’s deputies, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Presidential Administration, parliamentary committees, ministries and agencies.
