A Ukrainian company has received a certificate of conformity for its own development — the UDM VORMELA lightweight remote-controlled mine clearance vehicle, according to the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture.
According to its technical specifications, the machine is capable of clearing 1,500 to 2,500 square meters of territory per hour, depending on the type of soil and vegetation density. The processing depth is up to 25 cm. The main working body of the machine is a hammer mulcher, which protects the platform from anti-personnel mines, hand grenades, and artillery fragmentation submunitions. The machine’s body is made of Mars 500 armored steel.
The UDM VORMELA weighs 6 tons and does not require special transport for transportation. The model has two chassis configurations (solid rubber wheels or slip-on tracks) and can be equipped with additional attachments: skeleton and conventional buckets, a pallet loader, and a rotary blade.
The manufacturer noted that, despite the use of foreign components (John Deere engine, Poclain hydraulics), the machine has a high level of localization. The company plans to apply for participation in the state program “Made in Ukraine,” which will allow buyers to receive a 15% cashback.
Service and repair of the equipment will be carried out in Ukraine.
As reported, as of the end of December 2025, the sector’s capacity had grown to 294 demining machines. A significant part of this equipment is already being produced domestically, and nine more domestic machines are at various stages of certification. A total of 132 certified demining operators work in the sector.
Currently, about 137,000 square kilometers of territory in Ukraine remain potentially mined, of which only 15-20% require immediate demining.
7,169,197 notarial forms were used by Ukrainian notaries in 2025, according to the Unified Register of Notarial Forms. This is almost as many as a year earlier, but compared to 2021, the turnover decreased by about a quarter. Amid the overall decline, individual categories show different dynamics: the demand for land alienation transactions is growing, while wills and translations are declining.
More than 7 million forms were used by Ukrainian notaries in 2025. Over the year, the number of forms remained almost unchanged, but compared to the beginning of the full-scale reduction, it was significant, by a quarter.
It should be borne in mind that we are talking about the turnover of notarial forms, not the number of transactions. Several forms may be used for one notarial act, so the statistics reflect the volume of document turnover.
You can check the notarial forms in the Notary’s Office. Corporate users can automate these checks with the help of APIs right in their system.
Most often, we formalized inheritance: 1,011,321 forms, which is 5% less than in 2024. Land alienation also remains one of the largest categories, with 888,719 forms. The figure increased by 13% compared to 2021.
At the same time, the alienation of real estate (apartments/buildings) is not in the same demand. Thus, 848,653 such forms were used last year. However, this is still a quarter less by 2021.
The number of forms for wills is also decreasing: 119,133 last year. This is -10% for the year and -26% compared to 2021. Forms for prenuptial agreements remain a niche practice: 7,211 formalizations. Compared to the pre-war period, their number has almost halved, but there have been almost no changes over the past year. For comparison, 165,587 marriages were registered last year.
Other categories include 24,550 certificates of ownership. The number is higher than before the full-scale campaign, but lower than a year earlier. For the alienation of cars, 11,656 forms were used: compared to 2021, there are more such transactions, but the figure has decreased over the past year. Notarized translations accounted for 7,572 forms, which is one of the lowest rates among the popular categories, and it continues to decline.
The register records problematic forms separately. In 2025, there are 167,542 damaged forms: the figure has slightly increased over the past year (+2%). There were 10 stolen forms per year. This is a minimum level compared to previous years.

France will transfer 150 generators to Ukraine in February and provide EUR71 million in financial support throughout 2026, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy reported on Wednesday, citing First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal.
“France is one of Ukraine’s key strategic partners in the energy sector,” he said after meeting with Nicolas Fourcaux, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Investment Attractiveness at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.
During the meeting, Shmyhal thanked France for its support in attracting EUR 30 billion in energy assistance within the framework of EU macro-financial support and noted that 46 shipments of generators, transformers, and emergency equipment are already being used to restore the power system.
According to the company’s press service, Mostyska Dry Port (Mostyska container terminal) handled over 47,000 TEU of containerized cargo in 2025.
According to the report, the consolidated volume of transshipped general, bulk, and liquid cargo for the reporting period reached 395,000 tons. In the structure of cargo traffic, liquid cargo accounted for 200,000 tons, bulk cargo — 115,000 tons, general cargo — 45,000 tons, and grain — 35,000 tons.
“The dynamics of the container market in 2025 were uneven. In such conditions, the ability to adapt to changes becomes crucial. That is why we have consistently invested in storage facilities, modern equipment, and the development of areas that enable us to work effectively with different types of cargo,” said Dmitry Kobzar, CEO of the terminal, whose words are quoted in the report.
The company’s total capital investment in 2025 exceeded UAH 65 million (excluding VAT). In particular, the terminal opened a new covered warehouse with an area of over 4,000 square meters, thanks to which it can ship up to 10,000 tons of grain and meal in containers for export every month.
In addition, the company expanded its fleet of special equipment, in particular, it purchased a Kalmar reach stacker, a JCB telescopic loader, and an AWard container tipper for working at an angle of up to 90 degrees, which accelerated cargo handling processes.
In terms of tax deductions, the terminal transferred UAH 104.4 million to budgets of all levels and funds in the 12 months of 2025. Of this amount, UAH 81.9 million was taxes and fees to the state and local budgets, and UAH 22.5 million was a single social contribution (SSC).
Mostyska Drive Port (Container Terminal Mostyska) is a logistics hub located in the Lviv region near the Shehyni-Medyka checkpoint on the border between Ukraine and Poland. The terminal is a strategic hub that provides a direct connection between the Ukrainian railway network (1520 mm gauge) and the European railway network (1435 mm gauge).
The facility’s infrastructure allows for the transshipment of containers, as well as bulk, loose, and general cargo. The terminal’s technical capabilities ensure a full cycle of cargo handling between Ukraine and EU countries, including transshipment from one type of gauge to another and packing of cargo into containers.
Pluralis B.V., an impact investment fund managed by the American Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF), invested UAH 9.98 million and UAH 9.42 million as part of an increase in the authorized capital of UP Media Plus LLC and UP Media LLC, thereby becoming the owner of 13% of the Ukrainska Pravda (UP) publication.
According to data from YouControl, the contributions of the founder and head of the Dragon Capital investment group, Tomas Fiala, remained unchanged at UAH 66.79 million and UAH 63.01 million, respectively, so his share decreased from 100% to 87%.
Fiala previously noted that after Pluralis entered the capital, representatives of the fund would also join the supervisory body that would be created with them.
“Their investment is through a supplementary issue. This means that it is an injection into the company itself, not a cash-out,” the owner of UP emphasized in an interview with Forbes Business Breakfast with Volodymyr Fedorin.
According to Fiala, UP is valued at “millions of dollars”: it has grown, but not significantly – by several tens of percent – since he bought a 100% stake in May 2021.
He added that he is counting on the help of the Pluralis B.V. fund in attracting additional investments in UP. According to the media owner, it is still too early to talk about the possibility of exiting these investments, perhaps in five to seven years.

It was founded in 2000 and writes about politics, society, economics, sports, technology, and international events, focusing primarily on digital platforms. Fiala, a Czech citizen, also owns the NV media holding, which includes the magazine, portal, and radio station of the same name, but UP and NV operate independently of each other. After the purchase of UP, an agreement on editorial independence was signed between the new owner and the publication.
According to YouControl, in the first nine months of 2025, UP Media Plus’s revenue grew by 54.0% to UAH 73.1 million, while its net loss decreased by 20.2% to UAH 24.8 million. The company’s assets at the end of this period amounted to UAH 27.3 million.
UP Media received UAH 0.2 million in revenue for nine months of last year, with a net loss of UAH 4.6 million, which roughly corresponds to the figures for the same period in 2024. Its assets as of September 30, 2025, amounted to UAH 37.6 million.
