UKRAINE SINCE BEGINNING OF MARKETING YEAR EXPORTS 44 MLN TONNES OF GRAIN

Ukraine since the beginning of the 2020/2021 marketing year (July-June) and as of June 25, 2021 exported 43.94 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, which is 21.8% less than on the same date of the previous year.
According to the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, to date, 16.41 million tonnes of wheat, 22.59 million tonnes of corn, and 4.21 million tonnes of barley have been exported.
As of the indicated date, 123,700 tonnes of flour were also exported.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ukraine exported 56.72 million tonnes of grain and legumes in 2019/20.

UKRAINE EXPORTS 38.92 MLN TONNES OF GRAIN SINCE START OF 2020/2021 MY

Ukraine since the beginning of the 2020/2021 marketing year (MY, July-June) and as of April 30, 2021 had exported 38.92 million tonnes ofgrains and legumes, which is 22.9% less than on the same date of the previous MY.
According to the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, to date, 15.08 million tonnes of wheat, 19.11 million tonnes of corn, 4.12 million tonnes of barley have been exported.
As of the indicated date, 106,100 tonnes of flour were also exported.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ukraine exported 56.72 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in the 2019/2020 MY.
As reported, the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine in February predicted a decline in exports ofgrains and legumes in the 2020/2021 MY by 20.5% compared to the previous MY, to 45.4 million tonnes.

UKRAINIAN ENTERPRISES IN 2021 INCREASE EXPORT OF FERROUS SCRAP BY 8.9 TIMES

Ukrainian enterprises in January-May this year increased exports of ferrous scrap by 8.9 times compared to the same period last year, to 146,345 tonnes, including 59,366 tonnes of scrap exported in May.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service on Wednesday, in monetary terms, exports of scrap metal increased by 12.5 times, to $52.333 million.
At the same time, in January-May this year, the country increased imports of scrap metal in quantity terms by 51.3%, to 10,351 tonnes. In monetary terms, imports of scrap increased by 2.4 times, to $18.007 million.
Scrap metal in January-May this year was mainly imported from Turkey (63.78% of deliveries in monetary terms), the Russian Federation (28.98%) and the U.S. (2.26%); and exported – to Turkey (96.26%), Germany (0.99%) and Lithuania (0.91%).
