UKRNAFTA INCREASES AVERAGE DAILY OIL PRODUCTION

In January-March 2023, PJSC Ukrnafta carried out a number of organizational and technical measures at the wells, which made it possible to increase the average daily oil production by more than 100 tonnes and petroleum gas by 30,000 cubic meters.
This was reported in a company press release with reference to the post of director of PJSC Ukrnafta Serhiy Koretsky on his Facebook page on Friday.
“In particular, the transfer to another horizon of one well in the Eastern oil and gas region made it possible to obtain an average daily flow rate of 34.1 tonnes of oil. As of the end of March, 1,100 tonnes of oil and 100,000 cubic meters of petroleum gas have already been received from this well,” he said.
In addition, more than 10 complex operations were carried out at other fields.
“Thanks to these works, it was possible to increase the flow rate at some wells four times, which in total brought more than 100 additional tonnes of daily oil flow rate and about 30,000 cubic meters of petroleum gas,” the PJSC said.
As the company recalled, Ukrnafta aims to increase oil production by 6% in 2023, with a further subsequent increase in production over the next five years. This year it is planned to drill three new wells and three sidetracks.

Kuleba leaves for Guatemala

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba departed for Guatemala, the first visit to Latin America by the country’s foreign minister in 10 years.
“The best way to spend Europe Day…is to be on the road to Latin America to open new horizons for European Ukraine. Ahead is a long journey to distant but genuinely friendly Guatemala, where, at the invitation of my colleague Mario Bucaro Flores, I will participate in the Ministerial Council of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) and make a bilateral visit. This country has shown itself in hard times as a true friend. And Ukraine appreciates friends,” Kuleba wrote on his Instagram.
Kuleba stressed that this is the first-ever visit of a Ukrainian Foreign Minister to Guatemala, the first-ever participation in the ACD Council of Ministers, and the first visit of a Ukrainian Foreign Minister to Latin America in 10 years.
The foreign minister noted that the ACD is 25 Caribbean states.
“An important region with significant resources is interested in Ukrainian goods, the experience of digitalization of the government, mutually beneficial political cooperation in international organizations,” Kuleba added.
According to him, the visit will open a new page in Ukraine’s relations with Latin American countries and strengthen cooperation with the Global South.

monobank and other banks to return seizures of customer funds because of new law

Virtual monobank, as well as other banks, will return arrests temporarily removed after the start of the war on the funds in the accounts of some customers in connection with the entry into force of the law “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine on certain specific features of the organization of compulsory execution of court decisions and decisions of other bodies during martial law”.
“Since the law came into force, we have to return the arrests that were removed during martial law. This will affect ~436 thousand of our clients,” said the co-founder of the bank Oleg Gorokhovsky.
He specified that this law cancels the action of the Cabinet of Ministers, which removed the arrests of the executive service in the amount of less than 100 thousand UAH during martial law.
“The new law allows customers with arrests to use the amount of two minimum wages (13.4 thousand UAH) on the condition that the client applied to the executor and the latter, in turn, sent us a resolution to remove the arrest in the amount of 13.4 thousand UAH on one of the accounts of the client,” – said Gorokhovsky.
According to him, nothing can be done about it, and all banks will comply with this norm.
At the beginning of March this year, Gorokhovsky said that the number of bank customers exceeded 7 million last week.
