The Club of Experts YouTube channel published a new video overview dedicated to current events and events which will take place from October 31 to November 6, 2022. In the video review the founder of the Club of experts Maksim Urakin together with host Olga Levkun discussed the most important announcements of the events in the nearest future.
Particularly in Ukraine in the coming days there will be several events devoted to reconstruction and development of economy, business and innovations implementation. Among them we can single out Digital Regions Week, the opening of which will take place in Bucha (Kiev region) at the Dia.Biznes center on Tuesday. On Wednesday there will be a presentation of the Interactive map of destruction of the Ukrainian agricultural sector where the Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solskyi and the Head of the VR Committee on Agriculture Daniil Hetmantsev are expected to speak. On the same day the II National Conference “Women’s Leadership on Decentralization and Local Self-Government in the Context of War” will be held.
There are also several important events in the world, the most important of which will be by-elections to the U.S. Senate and Congress on November 8, which will determine the party composition of these bodies for the next 6 years. On the economic front, the ADIPEC 2022 strategic oil and gas conference in the UAE and the UN climate change conference in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt will be of interest.

So, in Ukraine next week, several major events are expected to be dedicated to economic recovery and business support during martial law. In particular, the largest conference on youth entrepreneurship and student startups in Ukraine Startup Campus will start on Wednesday, the main speaker of which will be the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, and on Thursday the annual Richelieu Forum dedicated to the architecture of a new model of public service will start.
In the world next week, the most anticipated event will be farewell to Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. The ceremony is expected to be attended by many world leaders. In the economy, the main news could be a possible change in the monetary policy of the US Federal Reserve System, analysts predict a 30% chance of raising the Fed’s discount rate by 1 percentage point.
Football will dominate next week’s sporting events. As part of the qualification for the 2022 World Cup and the European League of Nations, important matches of the national teams will be held, among which one can single out the fundamental confrontation between two old rivals – Brazil and Argentina. On August 27-28, the charity squash tournament “Zenit Ukraine Open 2022” will be held on the courts of the capital’s fitness center “SPORT LIFE”.
For two days, awards will be drawn in 5 categories among men and women. Players from Romania, USA, Moldova, Lithuania, as well as athletes from Kyiv, Lvov, Kharkov, Dnipro, Khmelnitsky, Poltava, Kherson and Odessa will take part in the competition.
The start of the tournament is scheduled for 10-00 on Saturday, August 28 in the complex “SPORT LIFE” at st. Marshal Konev, 8. The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners will be held on August 29 at 16-00 in the restaurant “OZERO”.
According to the co-organizer of the tournament Maksim Urakin, the tournament is held in Kyiv for the first time due to security reasons.
“For the last 11 years, the tournament has been held in Odessa, and we know it under the name Zenit Black Sea Open. Now, due to the war, we were forced to change traditions and move the venue to Kyiv. At the same time, we plan to return to Odessa courts next year” – Maksim Urakin explained.
According to another organizer, Dmitry Shcherbakov, holding international competitions in Kyiv is now important not only to support Ukrainian sports, but also for the country as a whole.
“We are grateful to all the athletes who responded to the call to participate in the tournament at such a difficult time. This means that Ukrainian sport is alive and winning,” he stressed.
According to the organizers, the funds raised at the tournament will be directed to charity and assistance to Ukraine.
“Zenit Open” is the most famous and largest international squash tournament in the history of independent Ukraine.
