Nova Poshta’s revenue exceeded UAH 44 bln in 2024 despite war

In 2024, Nova Poshta, the leader of express shipments in Ukraine, increased its revenue by 22% to UAH 44.77 billion, while its net profit decreased by 36.9% to UAH 2.5 billion, according to its financial results, which were confirmed by the audit company Baker Tilly Ukraine LLC and published in the SMIDA information disclosure system.

“Despite the challenges of wartime and the shelling of branches and terminals, Nova Poshta operated as usual in 2024. The number of shipments in 2024 exceeded 480 million parcels and cargoes, or +16% year-on-year. The NPS (Consumer Loyalty Index) level for 2024 for the company was 80.8%,” the report says.

It is noted that due to the strategy of increasing customer accessibility points, the number of branches, delivery points and post offices in Ukraine amounted to more than 37 thousand at the end of December 2024.

As of December 31, 2024, the ratio of own and agency branches was 1,891 and 11,317, respectively, compared to 1,847 and 9,614 as of December 31, 2023.

The average number of full-time employees of the company, including part-time employees and those on maternity leave, was 27,509 at the end of 2024 compared to 26,327 at the end of 2023.

In 2024, despite the military aggression, Nova Poshta resumed investments in innovation, launching and testing of new technologies and services, amounting to UAH 7.3 billion, the report says.

According to information on SMIDA, the consolidated income of the group of companies, which includes the parent company Nova Poshta LLC and its subsidiaries, including NovaPay, NovaPay PL, NP Digital, NOVA Digital Sp. z o.o. (Poland), Nova-Energy, Novobox, Nova Place, Nova Post Europe, subsidiaries in Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Poland, Belgium, Spain, and the Netherlands, in 2024 increased by 24% to UAH 54.2 billion. Consolidated profit decreased by 10.8% to UAH 3.81 billion.

Nova Poshta’s core business remains the express delivery of documents, parcels and palletized bulky cargo. The company is the leader in express delivery in Ukraine. Its ultimate beneficial owners are Volodymyr Popereshnyuk and Viacheslav Klymov.

Nova Poshta’s revenue increased to UAH 11.85 bln

In January-March 2025, Nova Poshta, the leader of express shipments in Ukraine, increased its net income by 21.3% compared to the same period in 2024, to UAH 11.85 billion.

As the company reported in the SMIDA information disclosure system, its net profit for the first quarter of 2025 decreased by 1.7 times to UAH 290.29 million.

Long-term bank loans increased by UAH 26.98 million to UAH 5.074 billion compared to the first quarter of 2024. As of March 31, the total amount of outstanding loans to banks amounted to UAH 6.635 billion.

The amount of liabilities on securities as of the reporting date was UAH 1.99 billion, including UAH 995.82 million on E series bonds issued on April 26, 2024, and UAH 998.45 million on F series bonds (also dated April 26, 2024).

In January-March, the company delivered 106.6 million parcels worth UAH 11.85 billion.

“Nova Poshta” has opened branch in Madrid, with plans for Benidorm, Marbella, Valencia

Nova Poshta, the leader in express shipping in Ukraine, has opened a branch in Madrid, the seventh city where the company has a presence with stationary offices in Spain, the company’s press service said.

According to the company’s announcement on Friday, Nova Poshta plans to expand its network in southern Spain, with new offices to open in Benidorm, Marbella, and Valencia.

“Nova Poshta has opened a branch in the Spanish capital of Madrid. The new service point is located in Madrid at: C. del Cañaveral, 95, Bajos 1, 28029. Here you can quickly send and receive documents and parcels weighing up to 30 kg and measuring up to 120×70×70 cm,” the company’s press service said.

According to the CEO of Nova Post in Spain, Sergey Karputev, the next step is to expand its network to the south of Spain.

“We plan to open branches in Benidorm, Marbella and another in Valencia,” Karputev said.

He noted that over 18.5 thousand customers use Nova Poshta services in Spain, including more than 350 businesses.

Madrid has become the seventh city in Spain where Nova Poshta has a presence with stationary offices. Since 2024, the company has opened branches in Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Torrevieja and Málaga.

“Nova Poshta” in Moldova processed more than 38 thousand parcels per day

Nova Poshta, the leader in express delivery in Ukraine, has set a record in Moldova by processing 38,137 parcels in one day on February 28, which is more than 50 shipments every minute, the company’s press service reports.

“Nova Poshta in Moldova set the record thanks to fast delivery from the world’s largest online stores, such as iHerb, Makeup, Zapatos, Temu, Aliexpress, and others. On February 28, 2025, the company processed 38,137 parcels in one day, which is more than 50 shipments every minute,” the press service of Nova Poshta said in a statement on Wednesday.

In February, 88% of all parcels in Moldova came from foreign marketplaces. The most popular goods among Moldovan buyers are clothes, shoes, cosmetics, electronics and household appliances, the press service noted.

“This record is the result of the trust of our customers and the daily work of the Nova Poshta team in Moldova. Moreover, in February, we processed 714,805 shipments, which is 18% more than in the whole of 2022. This is the absolute maximum in the history of Nova Poshta’s work in Moldova,” the press service of the CEO of Nova Poshta in Moldova quoted Sergei Shapran as saying.

According to the report, the previous record was set on December 20, 2024, when Nova Poshta processed 34,476 parcels in Moldova per day.

“Nova Poshta in Moldova has expanded its network to 61 delivery points, 260 post offices and 31 branches. The company has implemented a system of address storage by cell number in the branches, which reduced the time to find a parcel from 3 minutes to 45 seconds. “Nova Poshta” has opened its first stationary office in Utrecht (Netherlands)

“Nova Poshta, the largest logistics operator in Ukraine, has opened its first stationary branch in the Netherlands in Utrecht, and plans to open mini-branches in Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam by the end of the year. “Nova Poshta entered the Dutch market in October 2024 by launching fast targeted delivery services. The company is currently expanding its customer experience and has opened its own branch in Utrecht,” the press service said in a statement on Monday.

According to it, the branch is located at Overvliet, 2 and is open from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 20:00, and on Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00.

Customers can send and receive documents and parcels weighing up to 100 kg at the branch.

Delivery time from Ukraine to the Netherlands is 6 days or more.

It is also reported that Nova Poshta customers can call a courier to any address in the Netherlands to pick up a paid and packaged shipment. This can be done through a multilingual website, personal account or mobile application available on Google Play and the Apple Store.

The company’s digital services also allow you to create invoices, find the nearest service points, find out their working hours, and track the parcel’s movement in real time. You can pay for delivery online, including through the IDEAL payment system.

NovaPay has doubled number of POS terminals in Nova Poshta offices

The international financial service NovaPay (TM NovaPay) for 9 months. 2024 has doubled the number of its own POS-terminals in Nova Poshta offices, bringing their number to 5,790 devices, the service’s press service reports.

“NovaPay is expanding its terminal fleet. In nine months, NovaPay has doubled the number of its own POS terminals in Nova Poshta offices, bringing their number to 5,790 devices,” the service’s press service said on Thursday.

Currently, 60% of all POS-terminals installed in Nova Poshta offices are from NovaPay. Each branch has at least one of the financial service’s own terminals, the press service said.

“A few years ago, we decided to invest in creating our own network of POS terminals. We keep a high pace of terminal fleet development and have already seen noticeable results. The customer service time has decreased from 22 to 13 seconds, and the number of failures has decreased. And most importantly, we are less dependent on third-party providers,” the press service quoted Alexey Ruban, NovaPay’s Chief Innovation Officer, as saying.

According to him, by building its own network of POS terminals in the country, the company was able to optimize processes and significantly save on commissions, directing the saved funds to further develop products and offers for customers.

By the end of 2025, NovaPay plans to increase the number of POS terminals by another 2.5 thousand and enter the open market.

Earlier it was reported that NovaPay made 418 million transfers in 2024, which is 18% more than in 2023. According to the press service of NovaPay on Tuesday, the total volume of transfers through the system in 2024 reached UAH 308.5 billion, which is 31% more than in 2023.

“NovaPay (TM NovaPay) is an international financial service that is part of the NOVA group of companies and has been providing online and offline payment services in more than 3,600 Nova Poshta branches for over 12 years. The service was the first non-bank financial institution in Ukraine to receive an extended license from the NBU, which allowed it to open accounts and issue cards.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of December 1, 2024, NovaPay LLC issued 449.11 thousand payment cards, of which 123.34 thousand were active (at least one transaction in November). With a share of 0.22%, the company ranked 17th in the market, but still lags far behind the leaders PrivatBank (29.28 million) and mono (9.86 million active cards). At the same time, at the beginning of 2024, NovaPay issued only 13 thousand cards.

In addition, the company had 10.71 thousand installed payment terminals at the beginning of December, compared to 3.43 thousand at the beginning of the year, and installed the first 10 self-service devices. In terms of the number of payment terminals, NovaPay with a 2.1% share overtook Ukrposhta with its 1.4% share and ranked fifth in the market, where the undisputed leader is PrivatBank with a 60.7% share.
