SKYUP TO LAUNCH DIRECT FLIGHTS BETWEEN KHARKIV AND LVIV FROM OCTOBER, TO LINK KYIV WITH KHARKIV AND ZAPORIZHIA

Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp Airlines (Kyiv) will launch three new domestic flights from October, the company said on its website.
What is more, the frequency of SkyUp flights between Kyiv and Lviv will increase.
The Kyiv-Zaporizhia flight fare starts from UAH 498. The flights will be carried out on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday starting from October 28, 2019.
The Kyiv-Kharkiv flight fare starts from UAH 498. The flights will be available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting from October 25, 2019.
Flights between Kharkiv and Lviv will be launched for the first time in Ukraine; tickets will cost starting from UAH 639. The flights will be carried out on Thursday and Sunday from October 17, 2019.
The airline stressed that the development of domestic routes is what SkyUp can do and continues doing for Ukraine.
“SkyUp Airlines is now fighting for its right to fly. Every day we are trying to get better. You wanted to open Europe – we launched flights to Barcelona, Paris and Naples. You liked the holidays in Lviv – we reviewed our winter flight schedule. Now after one hour on board the plane, you will be able to have lunch with partners in Kharkiv, or enjoy time with friends from Lviv – at the price of a train ticket,” the company’s press service quotes CEO Yevhen Khainatsky are quoted as saying.
Tickets for the three destinations are already available for booking.
As was reported, SkyUp, which was set up in June 2017, transported 668,500 passengers in the first half of 2019.
Currently, its fleet consists of eight planes: six Boeing 737-800 and two Boeing 737-700.

UKRAINIAN LOW-COST CARRIER SKYUP CARRIES 668,500 PASSENGERS IN H1

Ukrainian low-cost carrier SkyUp Airlines (Kyiv) in January-June 2019 carried 668,500 passengers, including 484,900 (72%) transported on charter flights and 183,700 (28%) – on regular. The airline currently operates flights to 47 destinations, the company’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine. Among them, 31 destinations are regular routes and 16 are charter flights.
The most popular destinations of regular flights for the six months of 2019 were: Barcelona (Spain), Tbilisi, Batumi (both in Georgia), Alicante (Spain), Larnaca (Cyprus).
Popular charter flights were Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, Marsa Alam (all in Egypt), Antalya (Turkey), Monastir (Tunisia).

SKYUP AIRLINE EXPANDS FLEET WITH EIGHTH AIRCRAFT

The Ukrainian airline SkyUp has expanded its fleet with the eighth aircraft – Boeing 737-800, the airline reported on its Facebook page.
According to the report, the new Boeing 737-800 with a UR-SQG tail number landed at Boryspil airport (Kyiv) on June 7.
The airplane will be a reserve aircraft of the main fleet, sometimes it will perform one-time charter flights on the order of corporate clients.
The airline’s fleet also consists of five medium-haul Boeing 737-800s (189 seats) and two medium-haul Boeing 737-700s (144,149 seats).
SkyUp Airline LLC was registered in Kyiv in June 2016.

SKYUP AIRLINE LAUNCHES FLIGHTS FROM ODESA TO KUTAISI

The Ukrainian airline SkyUp on June 4, 2019 launched flights from Odesa to Kutaisi (Georgia), Odesa airport said on Facebook.
Flights will be operated weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. Departure from Odesa is at 21:20, back at 19:20. The flight duration is two hours.
The cost of a one-way ticket without baggage starts from UAH 1,800.
As reported, SkyUp launched regular flights from Kharkiv to Odesa.
As of June 2019, SkyUp’s fleet had six aircraft, including four medium-haul Boeing 737-800 NGs with 189 seats and two medium-haul Boeing 737-700 NGs with 149 seats.
In October 2018, SkyUp received the TCO certificate, which allows performing flights to 28 countries of the European Union, as well as to Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.

SKYUP AIRLINE LAUNCHES REGULAR FLIGHTS FROM KHARIV, ZAPORIZHIA TO BARCELONA

The Ukrainian airline SkyUp from May 25, 2019 started servicing regular flights from Kharkiv and Zaporizhia to Barcelona (Spain).
Regular flights on the Kharkiv-Barcelona and Zaporizhia-Barcelona routes will be operated twice a week: on Wednesdays and Saturdays. These are the first direct flights from Kharkiv and Zaporizhia to Barcelona.
The cost of one-way tickets for the flight from Kharkiv starts from UAH 2,900.
In addition, in summer, SkyUp will also operate charter flights from Kharkiv to Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), Tivat (Montenegro), Monastir (Tunisia) and Antalya (Turkey).
Along with flights to Barcelona, in the coming months, the airline will launch regular flights from the Kharkiv International Airport to five destinations at once: June 2 to Odesa and Rimini (Italy), June 4 to Kutaisi (Georgia), June 6 to Larnaca (Cyprus), and on June 11 to Paris (France).
The airline also said that flights to Barcelona from Odesa will be operated during the summer navigation period – from May 25 through October 26. The one-way ticket price starts from UAH from 2,500.
SkyUp Airline LLC was registered in Kyiv in June 2016. The founder of SkyUp was ACS-Ukraine belonging to Tetiana Alba and Yuriy Alba, who also own JoinUp! tour operator.

SKYUP AIRLINE TO LAUNCH NEW FLIGHTS FROM KHARKIV AND ZAPORIZHIA

Ukraine’s SkyUp airline will service flights from Zaporizhia to Barcelona and from Kharkiv to Barcelona, Larnaca, Rimini and Kutaisi, the airline has reported.
Flights Zaporizhia-Barcelona and Kharkiv-Barcelona will be serviced from May 25, 2019 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the price of one-way tickets without luggage starts from UAH 2,875 and UAH 3,025, respectively.
Flights Kharkiv-Larnaca will be operated from May 30 on Thursdays, the price of one-way tickets starts from UAH 2,346.
Flights Kharkiv-Rimini will be launched from June 2 on Sundays, the one-way ticket price starts from UAH 2,617, Kharkiv-Kutaisi – also from June 2 on Tuesdays and Fridays, with one-way tickets price starting from UAH 2,210.
In October 2018, SkyUp received a Third Country Operators (TCO) certificate that allows flying to 28 countries of the European Union, as well as to Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
