“Ukrposhta” Launches “Ukrposhta Market” Marketplace in Partnership with Kasta

The national postal operator, JSC “Ukrposhta,” in partnership with Kasta, is launching the “Ukrposhta Market” marketplace, which offers access to over 10 million products and free delivery to post offices throughout Ukraine.

“This isn’t just another marketplace—it’s a unique one with its own specific positioning: to enable people in every corner of Ukraine to get everything they need, even when air raid sirens are sounding and nearby stores are closed,” explained Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smiliansky on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.

According to him, to use “Ukrposhta Market,” users need to download or update the “Ukrposhta 2.0” app.

Smiliansky also noted that the marketplace is not subsidized by the government and is a market-driven project.

Among other things, the CEO of the national postal operator added that the service is aimed, in particular, at users who want to buy necessary goods without waiting for their orders to accumulate in order to qualify for free shipping.

“However, studies show that it is the ‘Z-generation’ that expects instant gratification of their immediate desires. And they don’t want to wait until their shopping cart is full to get free shipping. There’s no need to wait at all,” Smiliansky stated in his message.

JSC “Ukrposhta” is the national postal operator in Ukraine.

As previously reported, Ukrposhta increased its revenue by 4.2% in the first half of this year—to 6.776 billion hryvnias—and posted a net profit of 92 million hryvnias, compared to a net loss of 312 million hryvnias in the first half of last year.

The national postal operator has 7,200 customer service locations, including 2,000 mobile postal branches that serve 21,300 settlements. The average number of employees at the national postal operator for the second quarter of 2026 was 25,800, and the average salary was 20,300 UAH.

IDS Ukraine’s online sales rose by 49% in first half of year

IDS Ukraine increased its e-commerce sales volume by 49% in real terms in the first half of 2026, according to the group’s CEO, Marco Tkachuk.

However, online platforms and marketplaces currently account for only about 1% of the company’s total sales. A significant portion of online orders is processed through the online services of IDS Ukraine’s major retail partners.

Given the growth of this channel, the company estimates that online sales will account for 5–6% of total sales in the coming year.

At the same time, IDS Ukraine is developing its own B2B platform, e-Morshynska, for traditional retail. Currently, it serves approximately 21,000 retail outlets.

The platform already accounts for about 10% of IDS Ukraine’s sales in the traditional retail channel and allows stores to place orders independently without the involvement of a sales agent.

Digitalization has become one of the group’s largest areas of capital investment. Over the past four years, IDS Ukraine has allocated 363.4 million UAH to digital transformation and software. At the same time, the company is in the final stages of implementing an ERP system for inventory management and supply planning.

Polish marketplace Allegro plans to start delivering goods to Ukraine from June

Poland’s largest marketplace, Allegro, plans from June of this year to introduce delivery from Polish sellers on the platform to Ukraine, and in the future to create a separate Allegro.ua platform for Ukrainian companies, according to a report by the Polish publication Wiadomosci Handlowe, citing sources.

“We are observing a clear growth trend in cross-border e-commerce and growing interest from foreign customers, including from Ukraine. In order to support our partners even more effectively in their regional expansion, we are now introducing the first phase of a new delivery method — Allegro International Ukraina,” the article says.

It is noted that at the first stage of launching delivery to Ukraine, several hundred sellers from Poland will be included in the program.

“As part of the next stage, Allegro will open up to a wider circle of Polish sellers who want to reach customers living in Ukraine,” the publication explains.

According to Wiadomosci Handlowe, Allegro’s integration with Ukrainian sellers may take place as early as 2027.

“This would be a turning point and at the same time proof that Allegro intends to seriously compete with marketplaces operating in Ukraine, such as Rozetka,” Wiadomosci Handlowe noted.

Overall, the marketplace is now at the stage of preparing to launch the new direction, in particular attracting partners and providing them with technical and operational support.

It is also specified that the delivery of parcels from Polish sellers to Ukrainian customers will be carried out by Nova Post.

Allegro is the largest marketplace in Poland, which also operates in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia.

In 2021, the company announced the acquisition of the Czech e-commerce group Mall Group and the logistics company WE|DO. The corresponding transaction was completed in April 2022, which allowed the marketplace to enter the markets of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia.
