Regular ships with grain left Odessa

Five more ships with a total cargo of 122.3 thousand tons of agricultural products left the ports of Velikaya Odessa for the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe on Monday.
As noted in a message on the telegram channel of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, among these vessels are the NEW LIBERTY bulk carrier, which will deliver 25 thousand tons of wheat to Kenya, as well as the CHOLA TREASURE bulk carrier, which will deliver 61.8 thousand tons of rapeseed to Pakistan.
Since the beginning of the implementation of the Grain Initiative, 350 ships with 7.8 million tons of agricultural products have left the ports of Big Odessa for the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa.
As reported, the parties participating in the “Grain Initiative” – ​​the UN, Turkey and Ukraine – expressed their readiness to continue its operation and assured that maximum efforts would be made for its successful implementation, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov said following a meeting on Sunday at the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul with Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.

Ukrainian ports on Monday left seven ships with almost 56 thousand tons of food, having received permission from the joint coordination center (JCC).

“On October 10, seven ships left Ukrainian ports, they are transporting a total of 55,750 tons of grain and other agricultural products as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative,” the SKC said in a statement.

Five dry cargo ships – Basel Athena (19 thousand tons of wheat), Taj (10.5 thousand tons of corn), Islander A (7.2 thousand tons of wheat), Blue Shark (3.4 thousand tons of soybeans) and Jaguar (2.5 thousand tons of food) sailed to Turkey.

In addition, the Mehmet Bey ship will deliver 7.6 thousand tons of soybeans to Egypt. The Ekmen Trans vessel left for Israel with 5.5 thousand tons of rapeseed meal.

The SKC specified that “the grain that arrived at the destination can be processed and then transported to other countries.”

“As of October 10, the total tonnage of grain and other agricultural products exported from three Ukrainian ports is 6,868,748 tons. In total, 629 ships have been allowed to move at the moment – 320 for arrival in Ukrainian ports and 309 for leaving them,” – emphasized in the message.

On July 22, in Istanbul, with the participation of the UN, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine, a document was signed on the creation of a corridor for the export of grain from three Ukrainian ports – Chornomorsk, Odessa and Pivdenny.

Another 11 ships with more than 217,000 tons of agricultural products left Ukrainian ports on Saturday for the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe as part of the implementation of the “grain initiative”, the Ministry of Infrastructure reported.

5 ships with Ukrainian food to leave for Turkey, Italy, China under Black Sea Grain Initiative

The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) authorized five outbound vessels loaded with food on Thursday within the framework of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, the UN has reported.
“JCC authorized the movement of five ships carrying a total of 83,241 tonnes of grain and other foodstuffs as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative,” the UN said.
The UN reported that vessels Jasmin Queen (9,531 tonnes of corn), Captain Adam 1 (9,300 tonnes of wheat) and Filyoz (4,410 tonnes of sunflower oil) will go to Turkey. The Kiran America ship will head to China with 50,000 tonnes of barley and corn, while the Santana ship will deliver 10,000 tonnes of wheat to Italy.
In addition, vessel Dignity (8,200 tonnes of sunflower seeds) previously postponed the departure from the port of Chornomorsk to Thursday, September 8. It is planned that it will go to Turkey.
